Journeyman Plumber Job Description We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems with a focus on fuel-related infrastructure, including gas lines, industrial piping, and heating systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial plumbing, with a strong understanding of fuel distribution systems and safety regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for water, gas, and fuel distribution. Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with local codes. Work with fuel tanks, gas meters, and pressure regulators. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support fuel system infrastructure. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Respond to emergency plumbing issues and perform preventative maintenance. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Essential Skills Valid Journeyman Plumber License (state-specific). Minimum 3-5 years of plumbing experience, preferably in an industrial or fuel-related setting. Knowledge of fuel gas codes and piping standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
