Blattner is seeking experienced Crane Operators to join our team in the wind energy sector. This role involves lifting, positioning, and assembling wind turbine components using a variety of large scale cranes and many others.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Plans all lifts, uses proper capacity charts, completes pre-lift/critical lift sheet.

Observes load hookup and determines safety of load.

Manipulates or depresses crane controls such as pedals, levers, and buttons, to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.

Uses hoisting attachments such as hook, sling, electromagnet, or bucket as load requires.

Performs rigging inspections and daily equipment inspections. Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.

Observes functioning of equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, repairs, or replacements.

Adheres to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifting operations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy-lift cranes, preferably in wind energy or large-scale construction.

Technical school degree/certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

NCCCO, Crane Physical and Valid Driver's License. Certification/License from an Accredited organization i.e. CIC, NCCER, NCCCO or OECP (Required)

Pay Range: $32.00-$42.00 per hour; per diem based on eligibility

Individual compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity and by specific location in alignment with applicable pay laws and regulations. Compensation is just one factor of our overall benefits package.
