Mechanical Design Engineer (Airfoils)

Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (specialized in air foils) to join their Turbine Module Design Liaison Engineering team. This can be a remote role, but the client is also interested in candidates local to Greenville, SC who would be willing to come onsite. The daily responsibilities include:

- Technical focal for qualifications, deviations, & general support for compressor airfoils

- Proactive & reactive defect reduction projects

- Expeditious dispositioning of deviant hardware & drawing revisions

- Must be a team player & collaborate with team, technical leader, & manager

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Engineering related degree)

Familiar with Ansys, PLM (Siemens preferred) and MS Office Suite

Strong background with CAD Software (NX Unigraphics preferred)

2-8 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering role focused on design and project management

Strong background in manufacturing environment
