You will serve as an Electrician in the Voyage Repair Team of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including: 1) Manufacturing, inspecting, installing, troubleshooting, operating, overhauling, maintaining, and testing ALRE Electrical Systems and their associated component located onboard aircraft carries and surface ships; 2) Disassembling, repairing, modifying and reassembling precision and/or complex assemblies without the aid of drawings; 3) Applying knowledge and experience of electrical theory on shipboard electrical equipment at the journeyman level; 4) Recognizing the overall effects of design changes during processing and anticipate flaws in theoretical design from the standpoint of practical manufacture and limitations of available machinery; and 5) Reading and interpreting incomplete and tentative blueprints, schematic drawings, detailed Federal and Navy and Commercial Engineering codes and specifications. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.
