Industrial Resources Inc. is a fabrication shop based in Mount Vernon, WA, specializing in industrial systems with an emphasis on dust collection. We're looking for an Estimator / Detailer to join our fabrication team and help us continue delivering quality fabricated goods for long term clients. This position requires familiarity with metal fabrication, ability to estimate, and strong communication skills. Upward opportunity advancements exist for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read, interpret, modify, and create shop drawings as needed for project execution.

- Work primarily within IRI fabrication shop. Visits to customer industrial facilities may also be required.

- Assist Project Managers from project inception to completion, providing drawing as needed.

- Work closely with management and shop team members to ensure project success via accurate drawings and clear communication.

- Assist clients with estimates for small projects.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

- Work experience of 3+ years in detailing and estimating in any of the following areas: fabrication, piping, mechanical or HVAC industries.

- A two-year Associates degree or equivalent in detailing and/or estimating.

- Experience with drawing interpretation and reading. Computer skills with drafting would be helpful, Autocad and/or Solidworks experience would be preferred.

- Experience bidding small projects.

- Strong organization and time management skills required.

- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse teams and clients.

- Prior work experience in dust collection or wood product manufacturing or HVAC field design is a significant advantage.
