About you

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our construction team. We are looking for an individual with either commercial or office design and construction management experience. The ideal candidate must possess strong project management skills along with proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD or Revit. This role will involve supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of small to medium-complexity construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in managing Tenant Improvements, Maintenance Repair and Capital Improvement Projects.
  • Assist the Project Manager(s) in planning, executing and finalizing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Meet with stakeholder(s), document scope of work and identify project requirements.
  • Develop preliminary budget and schedule.
  • Review construction documents for scope, accuracy, feasibility and constructability.
  • Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Agreements for Project Management Review.
  • Coordinate pre-bid job walks, review proposals and make recommendations for award.
  • Mitigate risks associated with schedule and budget, review submittals, RFI's, ASI's and communicate project status to Project management and Project Stakeholder(s).
  • Maintain quality control and assurance, and manage construction schedules and budget, including phasing and revisions.
  • Responsible for project job costing, including purchase orders, invoices, change orders and budget reconciliation.
  • Interacts with stakeholders, attends project coordination meetings, meets with architects and contractors, works with company resources, and reviews project progress to effectively manage company projects.
  • Record meeting minutes from notes and information taken while in attendance at meetings, or from notes and information prepared by others.
  • Coordinate Final Acceptance, including commissioning and closeout documentation.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Knowledge of LEED EBOM, LEED GA
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit software strongly
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
