Welder 2

General Description:**

We are hiring a certified structural welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate has experience with various welding processes, including MIG, TIG and Stick, and is able to read blueprints and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements:**

Experience: 2--5 years

Education: Technical certificate or associate degree in welding (preferred)

Certifications: AWS (American Welding Society) certification required

Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick welding

Strong understanding of blueprint reading and metal fabrication

Ability to work independently and in a team setting

**Responsibilities:**

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, electro-galvanized and stainless steel

Interpret welding blueprints and technical drawings

Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures

Maintain high standards of safety and quality control

Inspect and test welds using visual and mechanical methods
