Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.

  • Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.

  • Work on construction sites to install high voltage systems safely and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.

  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.

  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in commercial settings.

  • Journeyman Electrician experience is required

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and safety protocols.

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.

  • Familiarity with NEC regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in using hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.

  • Experience working on construction sites is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
