Job Title: Construction Safety Manager

Job Description

The primary role of a Construction Safety Manager is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. This position involves implementing measures to motivate employees, improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
  • Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
  • Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing these to detect production problems.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff and resolve personal grievances.
  • Set and monitor product standards to ensure quality finished products.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.

Essential Skills

  • Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Understanding of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction safety management.
  • OSHA certification required.
  • Experience in data center construction is highly desired.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a construction environment where safety protocols must be strictly followed. The candidate will be required to utilize various technologies and equipment pertinent to the construction industry. The dress code is construction-appropriate attire to ensure safety and compliance with site regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $73.00/hr.
