Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who is proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, working with G & M codes, and capable of making offset adjustments on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the X and Y zero points, ensuring safety during start-up procedures, and working with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls. This role involves setting up and tearing down materials on vertical mills, using 6 scales, calipers, and go-no/go gages, and documenting daily activities efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and understand blueprints.
+ Work with programs using G & M codes.
+ Make offset adjustments and set the X and Y zero points daily.
+ Ensure safety during start-up procedures.
+ Operate Fanuc and/or Siemens controls.
+ Set up and tear down materials on vertical mills.
+ Utilize 6 scales, calipers, and go-no/go gages.
+ Document daily activities effectively.
+ Prioritize tasks, especially when machines break down.
+ Wear required PPE at all times.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.
+ Experience with lathe and machining operations.
+ Ability to perform inspections.
+ Minimum of 2 years of machine operation experience.
+ Ability to do offsets and setups.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ CNC schooling is a plus.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
