Apprentice Carpenter - Reconstruction Division

We're hiring Apprentice Carpenters to support our reconstruction crews on residential and commercial jobs. This is a hands-on, entry-level role with a clear opportunity to grow into a skilled carpenter. No license required just a willingness to learn, work hard, and be part of a team that makes a difference. What You'll Do: As an Apprentice Carpenter, you'll work under the supervision of experienced carpenters to: Assist with Construction Tasks Set up and clean up job sites Follow directions to support framing, drywall, finish work, and more Assist in demolition or site prep as needed Learn Tools, Skills, and Techniques Learn to read measurements, blueprints, and basic construction drawings Practice measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and other materials Use hand and power tools safely and correctly Handle Materials and Site Safety Carry, load, and organize job site materials Prepare surfaces for work (sanding, priming, clearing debris, etc.) Follow all PPE, lifting, and safety protocols to keep job sites clean and secure Maintain Tools and Equipment Clean and store carpentry tools after use Learn proper care of power tools and job site equipment What We're Looking For: Prior experience in construction or carpentry is a plus, but not required Interest in learning a skilled trade and growing into a long-term role Reliable transportation to job sites Willingness to follow directions and ask questions Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet throughout the day Team-oriented and dependable Why Join SERVPRO: Competitive hourly pay and full-time hours On-the-job training with experienced carpenters Supportive team culture and opportunities for advancement Make a real difference rebuilding homes and businesses after disasters Tools, gear, and safety equipment provided Ready to build your career while helping others rebuild their lives? With Jeff's knowledge of construction and insurance he knew the restoration industry was a perfect fit. Sandy graduated from Fontbonne University in 1987 with her Masters Degree in Communication Disorders. Her passion for helping her patients recover from speech, language and swallowing disorders shifted to helping customers recover from natural disasters. Jeff and Sandy are well respected in their local community and the restoration community. They continuously give back and support local events and organizations. Jeff is proud to be a Shriner and has dedicated his time to giving back to the St. Louis Shriners Hospitals for Children. Jeff and Sandy have been awarded the Gold Book Society Award and are honored to have a Radiology Room at the newly built hospital dedicated to them. Jeff and Sandy have donated over $100,000 to the hospital as a result of their Annual SERPVRO Golf Tournaments to benefit the hospital. Jeff and Sandy pride themselves on being locally owned, great work ethic and service they provide to their customers. This starts with their team of HEROES in the field, office staff and marketing team. In 2008, they expanded their presence in the community by purchasing another franchise license.
