JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY The General Laborer performs simple assembly

work, assists in setup and operating of machines, sweeps the production

area, transports materials, and performs various duties to assist in the

efficient production of company products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES This list of duties and responsibilities is not

all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and

responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Perform simple assembly work involving a small number of standard pieces

following prescribed procedures and instructions. Assist in positioning

and moving material for setups and machining operations. Gather tooling

and material. Transport materials and products to other areas within the

department. Operate pallet jack, hoist, crane, or hand truck. Maintain

shop cleanliness. Sweep the floor around the mills and lathes daily, and

sweep the general shop area as needed. Place parts and materials in

proper storage locations. Gather and distribute items as needed. Notify

Office Manager of low inventory levels. Assist other shop personnel with

various duties or rush orders to meet production schedules. Follow all

clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety,

and work rules and regulations. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Requires up to three months of related

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must have the ability to add and subtract using

whole numbers. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics

described here are representative of those an employee encounters while

performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable
