Combo Welder & Fitter ($150 per diem daily) Location: Hollywood, South Carolina Employment Type: Contract to hire Compensation: $25-$26/hour + $150 daily per diem Schedule: All shifts available; 10-15 hours of overtime weekly Shift Options: Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (OT available Friday/Saturday) Night Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday-Thursday (OT available Friday/Saturday) Weekend Shifts Available Company Overview: Join a nationally recognized leader in steel fabrication for the U.S. defense sector. Essential Skills & Qualifications: 3-5+ years experience in structural welding and fitting Proficiency in both flux core and pulse welding techniques (required) Strong blueprint and welding symbol interpretation skills Ability to convert fractions to decimals accurately down to 1/16" and 1/32" Prior experience working in shipyards or on NAVSEA defense-related projects Familiarity with NAVSEA standards and welding codes is strongly preferred Assessment & Testing Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete the following evaluations: 3G Flux Core Weld Test 3G Pulse Weld Test Blueprint Reading Assessment Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
