What you will do:
Ensure contractpliance by reviewing and implementing designs, drawings, and product specifications
Conduct and document engineering designs, including product connections, foundations, supporting elements, and lateral analysis
Support technical teams by assisting Project Coordinators, Drafters, and Checkers in developing erection and production drawings
Oversee quality control by checking drawings, supporting production, transportation, and field activities, and resolving deviations
Maintain project schedules by tracking timelines, visiting jobsites, and ensuring smooth coordination across all phases
Collaborate and review by developing relationships with engineers, architects, and contractors while ensuring drawing accuracy and signing off on construction documents
What you will need to be successful:
Expertise in building construction with hands-on experience in precast concrete design and construction
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and advanced skills in AutoCAD/Revit for design applications
A four-year accredited degree in civil or structural engineering, along with a Professional Engineer certification
At least five years of experience as a precast design engineer or equivalent background in building construction design
Strong technical and problem-solving abilities to ensure precision in design, documentation, and project execution
