Alternative Air is looking to add an experienced HVAC & plumbing

estimator to our team.

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to:**

- Attend pre-bid meetings and/or job site walkthroughs.

- Able to read and understand project specifications and drawings to

determine scope of work and required information of estimate.

- Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off scope of work.

- Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost,

engineering quality or availability of materials.

- Provide support to field employees regarding mechanical and plumbing

estimates.

- Knowledge of building materials, engineering standards and codes.

- Client-management skills.

- Able to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).

- Self-management - work with minimal supervision, manage own time

effectively and maintain control over all current

projects/responsibilities.
