Your impact:

Work on high-profile and challenging transportation projects

Design and develop plans, technical specifications, concepts, and cost estimates for traffic signal, signing & pavement marking, roadway lighting, roundabouts, pedestrian/bicycle improvements/facilities and safety projects

Manage and maintain project documentation

Collaborate with a dynamic team toplete project requirements

Preparing all types of intersection and arterial traffic operational/safety studies, including field reviews, crash analysis, identification of safety deficiencies, developing solutions to alleviate identified deficiencies, and follow-through until implementation

Preparation of access management and traffic management plans

Who you are:

BS in Civil Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) preferred

5+ years of demonstrated traffic engineering experience

Experience with MicroStation is required and OpenRoads designer is a plus

Experience in Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) is a plus

TDOT or KYTC experience is preferred.

Working knowledge of HCS, SYNCRHO, CORSIM and VISSIM and at a minimum be familiar with TDOT and/or KYTC Design Standards

Experience in Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) is a plus

Work Environment
