Our facility in Huntsville, AL has an immediate opportunity for an Senior Project Engineer to join our mission. In this role, you will support the NGI program with the following: Coordinates IMS planning, task organization, change control, integration, and completion of engineering and production projects within the AUR IPT focusing on Booster Assembly, Integration, and Test. Plans and formulates AI&T engineering, reviews Booster product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves Booster design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with Booster technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Ability to support coordination between multiple teams and multiple locations
Ability to update/develop long range staffing plans
Experience presenting to external customer
Ability to maintain technical knowledge of Booster AI&T processes, procedures, plans, and requirements to deliver the Booster products
Proven ability to perform impact assessments to the production flow
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance Proven ability to develop PowerPoint presentations
Experience working with integrated master schedules
Experience supporting floor production activities
Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering background
Proposal experience
Program design review experience
Current/Active secret security clearance
