Machine Operator

Volt is immediately hiring a Machine Operator for a local leading organization in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

As a Machine Operator you will:

• Perform metal plate shearing using machinery or manually
• Layout and label cut dimensions based on the drawing specs.
• Operate flame torch, plasma cutting machine, band saw, hole-punch, press break, plate roller, angle shear
• May perform some Stick welding

This is a Full time Temp to Hire position

The schedule is Monday - Friday 7am or 8am - 5:00pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Have the ability to read and interpret documents
• Have good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to perform repetitive work

Pay for this position is $19-$22 per hour DOE

*The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
