Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to support construction project operations in Pryor, OK. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a background in construction or mechanical engineering who is ready to assist in managing the design, pre-construction, and construction phases of commercial HVAC projects. You will work closely with Project and Senior Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing and estimating construction projects.
- Organize and control project elements to complete engineering projects.
- Review technical drawings and assemble details for job bid proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors to gather bid information.
- Support monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reporting.
- Monitor and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Administer contractor contracts and recommend project expenditures.
- Prepare and present project status reports.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
- Update project databases and construction systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries and support the Project Manager.
- Manage project financials, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee HVAC equipment project implementation and scheduling.
- Handle a portfolio of projects, including complex multi-building efforts.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents and internal processes.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in project management within commercial construction or HVAC.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and construction management software.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience managing both small and large-scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of estimation and budgeting processes.
