Industrial Painter**

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter for 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or industrial painting. Candidate should be well versed in various painting techniques including, but not limited to use of the GRACO Pro Mix system and pressurized paint pots.

Candidate should have experience with disassembly/reassembly of the paint gun and paint equipment including cleaning and proper maintenance.

- Ability to paint various sized and shaped parts using the proper industrial techniques.

- Must be able to stand in a booth with protective gear for up to 9 hours a shift.

- Experience using electrostatic and traditional paint guns.

- Knowledge of proper metal prep before paint.

- Knowledge of sanding and scuffing of defective parts.

- Experience with painting fabricated metal parts a plus.

- Understanding and willingness to take ownership of paint booth and equipment. Following all safety and proper cleaning and maintenance guidelines.

- Understanding of mil thickness and hatch testing for adhesion a plus.

- Experience in steel shot blasting.

- Masking, sanding and touch up.

- Forklift and powered pallet jack operation a plus, certification and training available in house.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to perform strenuous work.

- Must pass pulmonary function test and respirator fit test.

- Ability to work while wearing respirator and protective clothing up to 9 hours per day.

- Attention to detail and desire t produce quality work product.

- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
