About the Job

The Project Engineer Coordination of design and engineering activities of portions (one of more areas) of a medium to large (>$1B USD) size project or handle the delivery of a critical package in accordance with Company's QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments, construction needs, schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Within an assigned area or unit, he / she shall coordinate among various engineering disciplines and ensure that design, engineering and requisitioning activities are developed according to schedule, man/hours, equipment and materials budget as well as contractual specifications.
  • Ensure production of IFC deliverables on time & fit for purpose by making sure all design inputs are available on a timely basis.
  • Ensure timely reporting to Project Management of activity status, critical deviation of activities and potential risks.
  • Within his/her area of responsibilities, shall enforce QHSES corporate policies
  • Ensure the interdisciplinary consistency of design and requisitioning documents.
  • Coordinate engineering and requisitioning activities with procurement and construction
  • Ensure that vendor documents are approved, commented, and returned to vendors on time
  • Contribute to obtaining client approval on technical documents
  • Ensure the production of documents required for the permitting process when necessary

About You

We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or in relevant disciplines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience of working as project engineer on large projects or Project manager on small projects, including experience in site construction or fabrication activities. LNG experience is a plus.
  • Construction experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
