As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our

skilled welders and fabricators in their daily tasks. Your primary

responsibilities will include assisting with various physical tasks,

ensuring a clean and organized work environment, handling materials, and

contributing to the smooth operations of the shop. This position is

essential to maintaining efficiency and productivity in our welding and

fabrication processes. Safely and efficiently handle raw materials,

metals, and components used in the welding and fabrication process. This

includes loading and unloading materials, staging them for fabrication,

and delivering finished products to designated areas.

Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping and removing

debris.

Prepare workstations and equipment for use by ensuring they are in

proper working condition.

Provide support to skilled welders and fabricators by setting up

workpieces, clamping materials, and holding items in place during

welding and fabrication operations.

Assist in cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining welding tools,

equipment, and machinery to ensure they function optimally and remain in

good condition.

Clean, grind, and prepare materials for welding, ensuring proper fit-up

and alignment of components.

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents,

including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence

to shop safety rules.

Work collaboratively with welders other team members to accomplish

production goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Be open to learning and performing various tasks, such as basic welding

setup, cutting operations, and other shop-related activities, as needed.
