An industrial manufacturer supporting complex mechanical systems is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a team in the production of large steel assemblies. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands structural fabrication, values safety, and knows how to train and motivate crews on the floor.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) is Necessary.

• 5+ years of steel enclosure, custom metal process equipment structural steel, rail car, fabrication/welding experience. Custom, made-to-order manufacturing setting is ideal.

• Proven supervisory or team leadership background.

• Familiarity with steel fabrication equipment like Oxy-gas torches, Plasma cutters, Band saws, Guillotine Shears, Laser cutters, Beamlines/Drill Lines, Magnetic drills, Press brakes, Cambering machines, Welding machines, Overhead cranes, Shot blasters, CNC plasma cutters, Metal rollers, Beam coping machines, Hydraulic press brakes, CNC milling machines, Metal shears

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and plans.

• Clear, professional and effective communication skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of fabricators and welders.

• Inspect welds and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

• Train new hires in blueprint reading, welding symbols, and fabrication processes.

• Lead by example, promote a safety-first culture, and maintain accountability across the team.

• Coordinate daily activities and communicate production goals effectively.
