Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with expertise in bridge design to join our team. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Decatur IL.

This opportunity offers a hybrid scheule and a 5K sign on bonus.

The ideal candidate will lead the design, analysis, and oversight of county, municipal, and IDOT bridge and culvert projects, ensuring safe, functional, and innovative structural solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact infrastructure projects-managing technical design, client communication, mentorship of junior staff, and project execution. Qualifications

• 8+ years of recent design experience
  
  
• Bachelor's degree
  
  
• Structural Engineer liscense or eligibility to obtain one
  
  
• Experience in managing replacements and/or repairs of bridges or box culverts for IDOT, County Highway Departments and Municipalities.

• Effectively communicate project expectations and objectives with both internal staff and clients, utilizing both written and verbal channels.
  
  
• Conduct on-site inspections and prepare comprehensive structure condition reports.
  
  
• Interpret specifications and drawings, propose and document design modifications, and coordinate seamlessly with the design team.
  
  
• Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Checks on all projects to deliver superior service to our clients.
  
  
• Manage client relationships and actively cultivate new business connections.
