This person will serve as our client's Licensed Survey Office Manager and will be responsible for Survey Field Crews, getting work in the door and finishing plans out the door, approving timesheets, client interaction, and business development.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Regional Survey Director will play a key role in overseeing and supporting land surveying operations for luxury residential developments throughout the Southeast region. This position is ideal for a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) with experience in residential construction, land development, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Regional Survey Director in managing all surveying activities across multiple high-end residential projects.

Coordinate with internal teams (land acquisition, engineering, construction) and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely survey deliverables.

Review and approve plats, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking plans.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Toll Brothers quality standards.

Assist in developing and implementing regional survey standards, workflows, and best practices.

Mentor and support field crews and junior survey staff across the Southeast.

Conduct site visits to ensure accuracy and resolve field-related issues.

Manage survey data, CAD files, and GIS integration for project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

Active PLS or RLS license in Georgia (multi-state licensure in the Southeast is a plus).

7+ years of progressive experience in land surveying, with at least 3 years in residential construction or land development.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS, and total station equipment.

Strong understanding of subdivision design, platting, and permitting processes.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working with luxury or custom home builders.

Familiarity with drone surveying, LiDAR, and emerging geospatial technologies.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.30/hr.
