Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Utilize estimating software such as EBM (Electrical Bid Manager) to compile material, labor, and equipment costs.
Perform quantity take-offs, request vendor/subcontractor quotes, and evaluate project risks.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to project managers and clients when needed.
Collaborate with the project management team to provide input during project execution.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and electrical drawings.
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with EBM or similar estimating software .
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team setting.
