Electrical Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

• Utilize estimating software such as EBM (Electrical Bid Manager) to compile material, labor, and equipment costs.

• Perform quantity take-offs, request vendor/subcontractor quotes, and evaluate project risks.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

• Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to project managers and clients when needed.

• Collaborate with the project management team to provide input during project execution.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and electrical drawings.

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with EBM or similar estimating software .

• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team setting.
