What You'll Do Manage daily operationsInstall and repair refractories in steel vessels (furnaces, ladles, and tundishes)Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee refractory repairs and replacementsCollaborate with different departments to ensure successful accomplishments of company goalsCommunicate important shift information, production issues, concerns and needs with proper personnelUtilize improvement projects that increase the departments functionalityAnalyze, treat & establish counter measures for failuresPlan and attend required staffing and safety meetingsAssist with special projects and other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need Minimum 5 years of Refractory ExperienceExperience managing people and budgetsExperience in Inventory ControlProficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerpointData entry in SAP/QMOS experienceAbility to track, chart, and improve processesYour Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
