Agricultural Equipment Operator

We farm corn, soybeans, barley, and pinto beans. Typical work week consists of operating farm machinery, maintaining farms machinery, and drive semi-trucks. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of growing these crops including field prep, planting, spraying, harvesting, and hauling. Employees are required to operate John Deere and AGCO two track machines pulling implements. Be able to do in field repairs and maintenance on equipment. Operate sprayers and combines. Drive farm-trucks pulling trailers, using 10 speed transmissions. Mow ditches and farms yards. Remove grain from grain bins and haul to storage locations. Complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer?s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer?s discretion.
