Robotic Weld Operator**
**Job Description**
The Robotic Weld Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance on robotic welding equipment. This position requires a solid understanding of welding processes, quality standards, and robotic equipment operation in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has prior experience with robotic weld cells and demonstrates the ability to work independently while meeting production and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Monitor and oversee robotic welding cells, ensuring parts are loaded, cycled, and unloaded properly.
+ Perform inspections of welds using visual methods and measurement tools to verify quality against specifications.
+ Adjust welding parameters and perform basic programming adjustments as needed to maintain weld quality.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues.
+ Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, changing consumables, and verifying equipment functionality.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
+ Document production and inspection data accurately.
+ Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and participate in 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
+ Provide guidance and training to Robotic Weld Operator I personnel as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in welding processes.
+ Experience with robotic welding systems
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
+ Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
+ Effective communication and teamwork skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of experience operating robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Knowledge of MIG, resistance welding processes.
+ Familiarity with tape measure, machine operation, and hand tools.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
