About the Role:
We are partnered with a well-established and rapidly growing commercial drywall contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee drywall projects throughout the Hartford and Cheshire, CT area. This is a full-time, salaried position offering excellent compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities for a driven professional ready to make a strong impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project planning and management, including planning and managing drywall projects from start to finish.
- Communication and collaboration, including effective communication with all stakeholders involved in a project.
- Facilitating effective communication among clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure flawless project execution.
- Committing to delivering projects on schedule, within the agreed scope and budget.
- Use digital takeoff software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBid) to perform precise measurements and develop detailed cost breakdowns.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in drywall project management or a related field (framing, ceilings, interior finishes)
Strong working knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and QuickBid .
Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Familiarity with various @types of commercial projects (e.g., healthcare, retail, office, ground-up, tenant fit-outs).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred but not always required).
