We are currently seeking a **skilled and detail-oriented TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welder** to join our team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have experience welding various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. This full-time temp-to-hire position is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic manufacturing or fabrication environment with a pay rate of 22-30 dollars an hour dependent upon experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform TIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies with high precision.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
+ Inspect finished welds visually and/or using non-destructive testing to ensure quality standards.
+ Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, including torches, filler rods, and shielding gases.
+ Prepare workpieces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces prior to welding.
+ Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
+ Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment as needed.
**Requirements:**
+ Proven experience with TIG welding, including stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.
+ Strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprints, and fabrication methods.
+ High attention to detail with a commitment to producing top-quality work.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
+ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
