Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Engineer to support the R&D Engineering Pilot Plant of a global food packaging company. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation, optimization, and strategic development of the pilot plants infrastructure and equipment. Key responsibilities will include: Lead and manage infrastructure, mechanical, and commissioning projects within the R&D Pilot Plant, Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and equipment performance, Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a wide range of processing technologies, including: Mixers, Industrial Linear Ovens, Rotary Sandwiching Machines, Cooling Tunnels, Pressure Cookers, & Creme Kitchens, Conduct a comprehensive analysis of over 370 processing equipment assets and develop and implement a strategic roadmap for asset management including: identify which assets should be retained, stored, or sold, design and execute the asset disposal process, and establish and enforce storage guidelines and best practices.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years experience within Project Engineering with a focus on Asset Management

Extensive experience within a Manufacturing or R&D environment within Food or CPG industries

Strong understanding of Processing Equipment within the Manufacturing industry

Experience creating and implementing Asset Disposal Processes

Strong Project Management skills - Food manufacturing industry experience null
