CDL A Driver - Carpenters - Concrete Finishers - Skilled Laborers

CDL A Driver Qualifications**

Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
Diligent attention to safety
Ability to operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers consistent with DOT classification CDL-A
Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Maintain drivers logs and complete pre-trip inspections
Other duties assigned as needed

Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous tasks under various environmental conditions (e.g., wet, hot, humid, freezing)
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform heavy construction work
Ability to use equipment and tools safely and efficiently
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, and use abdominal/lower back muscles without fatigue
Fine motor skills and necessary dexterity for tool use
Willingness and ability to travel to job sites, including occasional overnight stays
Reliable and consistent attendance
