Project Manager
Job Description

This position will support projects across the U.S. Prior project management experience in regulated environments will be key to success in this role. Project experience working with the Federal Government is encouraged but not required. The ability to travel occasionally is necessary. As part of a Design-Build or CM@Risk team, you will develop projects and oversee them from preconstruction to closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the project.
  • Assist with estimating during preconstruction and bidding phases.
  • Review project estimates with operations team to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of design documents and field inspections.
  • Develop, evaluate, and update project schedules.
  • Establish project budgets and forecast budgets to project completion.
  • Manage project bidding and buyout with both negotiated and hard bid projects.
  • Write subcontract scopes of work and initiate subcontracts.
  • Enforce safety protocols when on project site.
  • Demonstrate strong fundamental knowledge of the construction project cycle.
  • Run a project or projects for a given client from bidding buyout phase through completion and closeout phases, acting as the main point of contact for the client.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships from contracting to contract closeout.
  • Oversee and manage the financial aspects of the project budget.
Essential Skills
  • Construction and construction management expertise.
  • Experience with federal construction projects.
  • Familiarity with Army Corps of Engineers regulations.
  • Proficiency in Procore software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Construction Science and Management.
  • At least 6 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and engineers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and excellent computer skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
  • Self-motivation and time management skills.
Work Environment

The work environment involves collaboration with a design-build team and requires occasional travel. You will be working on a variety of projects across the U.S., interacting with clients, and ensuring project success from start to finish. A professional dress code is expected when on project sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
