Electrical Estimator

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in developing accurate, competitive, and timely estimates for a variety of electrical construction projects. Youll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective and comprehensive bids that align with project scope and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and gather pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and budgets
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements
• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to understand project scope and execution
• Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, material costs, and labor rates
• Track and review bid results to improve future estimating strategies

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating or related role
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
• Proficient with estimating software (such as Conest, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.00/hr.
