Job Title: CAD Designer
Job Description
The CAD Designer will be an integral member of the team, effectively contributing to daily assigned tasks under the guidance of their supervisor. Will be working on telecom and other power / distribution projects across the United States. Candidate must be a go getter and feel comfortable using AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Draft redlines from planners.
- Process survey drawings into base maps.
- Create circuit and vicinity maps.
- Develop detailed drawings of padmounted equipment.
- Incorporate charts, tables, and specification sheets into drawings.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Knowledge of design and drafting practices.
- Experience with CAD, electrical, and construction drafting.
- Completion of AutoCAD/Drafting Course Certificate.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of engineering principles.
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting and land development.
Work Environment
The work environment involves using advanced CAD software and tools to produce detailed drawings and maps. The role requires collaboration with planners and surveyors, and adherence to general civil drafting practices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
