Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Construction
Location: Remote (Travel Required | Proximity to Sacramento Preferred)
Compensation: $120K–$165K Base + Bonus + Expenses Paid

Overview:
A nationally recognized healthcare organization is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to oversee the construction and renovation of medical facilities across Northern California. This is a remote-first role offering complete control over your travel schedule.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field — not just managing processes from behind a desk. We’re looking for someone who can build , who recognizes construction issues on site, and who leads with experience and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee ground-up and renovation construction projects for medical/healthcare facilities
- Serve as the Owner’s Representative from pre-construction through closeout
- Issue RFPs, manage bidding, and lead contractor selection
- Actively identify and resolve construction challenges in the field
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance—especially in occupied healthcare environments
- Manage budgets, schedules, and on-site execution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors
- Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety
What You Bring:
- 7–10 years of construction experience, including recent work in a PM or owner’s rep role
- Demonstrated ability to build, not just oversee — you can walk a job site and spot issues before they become problems
- Experience with medical/healthcare facility construction
- Familiarity with renovating occupied spaces, including storefronts and cabinetry work
- Background working with specialty contractors or mid-sized general contractors
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- CHC accreditation (Certified Healthcare Constructor) or ASHE credentials bonus
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
- Based near Sacramento or able to travel regularly
- Proximity to an airport is a plus
