Position Overview:

As an HVAC Mechanic, you'll work on the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This hands-on role is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and service HVAC systems, including ductwork, pumps, motors, compressors, controls, and thermostats

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate tools

Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

Maintain job documentation and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members

Qualifications:

For experienced candidates:

Completion of a certified HVAC apprenticeship program

Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC construction and service

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and safety protocols

For entry-level candidates:

Recent completion of an accredited HVAC trade school program

Strong foundational knowledge and eagerness to learn

Willingness to train under experienced technicians

Additional Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces

Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional overtime
