Safety Manager - Commercial Construction

Location: Boston, MA

Pay: $100,000 - $150,000+ DOE

Schedule: Full-time on site, Monday-Friday

Our client is a Veteran owned GC that provides best-in-class construction management services across the commercial, life sciences, institutional, and public markets. Known for their proactive, safety-first culture and technical excellence, they partner with top-tier clients throughout Greater Boston and beyond. They are looking for an experienced Safety Manager who brings passion and precision to the jobsite.

What you get to do:

Oversee the safety and risk management of multiple active construction sites

Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and compliance walkthroughs

Train and coach field teams, subcontractors, and leadership on OSHA standards

Maintain documentation including JHAs, SDS logs, inspections, permits, and toolbox talks

Lead incident investigations and corrective action plans

Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Client Reps to uphold safety culture

What you need to succeed:

5+ years of construction safety experience (GC experience preferred)

OSHA 30 certification required; CHST, CSP, or other safety credentials are a plus

Deep knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and local Boston/Eastern MA safety codes

Proven ability to lead trainings and communicate with field and leadership teams

Experience with safety software/reporting tools a bonus

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
