Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Civil Engineer, PE position include: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado (or ability to obtain immediately) with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 8+ years of progressive experience in energy or industrial infrastructure design. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM5, and UDFCD software including CUHP, UD-Culvert, and others. Lead the design and production of civil engineering deliverables including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems for energy infrastructure. Prepare technical reports, drainage analyses, stormwater plans, and regulatory permit packages. Apply advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and oversee complete engineering plan sets. Collaborate closely with GIS analysts, surveyors, permitting specialists, and project managers. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; knowledge of UDFCD and DOT design standards is a plus. Support mentoring and technical oversight of junior engineers and contribute to QA/QC processes. Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
