Position Details: Full Time, Rotating Shift 1-2 weekends per month, holidays are rotated Staff main Emergency Department and observation unit. Large team of physicians and APPs Patient Populations North: General EM with adults only Saxony: Growing ED- mix of patient population Key Responsibilities: Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including the main ED and observation unit. Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases. Perform bedside ER procedures. Leadership Responsibilities: Collaborates with Clinical Director, service line leadership, and physician leadership in workforce development planning Coordinates recruitment with the recruitment team and service line administration Coordinates with onboarding team for provider enrollment Reviews and monitors NRC scores and service line data Completes appropriate Oracle activities as needed or delate as appropriate Verifies and approves expense reports or delegate as appropriate Coordinates resources to meet inpatient and outpatient quality initiatives as appropriate Qualifications: ACNP, FNP or PA certifications required Emergency Medicine APP experience strongly preferred IU Health offers a value-based compensation package that includes: group insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 401k with company match, generous PTO, CME allowance/time off, relocation assistance, and malpractice insurance coverage.
