Williams Civil Construction in Missoula is looking for an experienced and motivated Utility or Grading Foreman to lead and manage field crews on a variety of civil construction projects. This role requires hands-on leadership, a strong understanding of underground utilities or grading operations, and the ability to deliver quality work while maintaining safety, productivity, and team morale.
What Youll Do:
+ Manage and direct daily work of field crews
+ Coordinate schedules, equipment, and materials
+ Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on site
+ Communicate with project managers and inspectors
What You Bring:
+ Experience in heavy civil construction with strong equipment operation skills (excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes)
+ Experience as a foreman or crew lead on utility or grading projects, with a solid track record of managing production and crew performance
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, set grade using lasers/levels, and estimate material, tool, and equipment needs
+ Strong leadership, communication, and safety-focused supervision skills in fast-paced field environments
+ CDL preferred (or willing to obtain) and capable of performing light repairs and field adjustments to equipment as needed
