**Description:**

We are seeking a Project Estimator to manage cost estimation, construction budgeting, and project communication within a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing estimates for projects, ensuring cost-effective budgeting, and helping to maintain smooth communication across all stages of a project. This is a full-time role with the potential to transition into a salaried position after a successful temp-to-hire period.

**Responsibilities:**

Prepare cost estimates for painting and glazing projects based on client specifications and project requirements.

Develop detailed budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and proposals to accurately estimate costs.

Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project requirements and progress.

Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule.

Collaborate with other departments to assess project scope and ensure alignment with client expectations.

Assist in developing bid proposals and contracts.

**Requirements:**

Strong skills in cost management, project budgeting, and estimating.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and budgeting tools.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
