Planner Scheduler
Job Description

This position is responsible for developing work orders and preventive maintenance plans for implementation. The role involves collaborating with station personnel to identify, create, and order parts for repair and replacement activities. The planner scheduler must efficiently plan work packages for various types of work including Design Change Work Packages, Preventive Maintenance Work Packages, and Corrective Work Packages, while defining the work standards to be used. The scope of work encompasses Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze work order tasks required to implement large capital projects, preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities.
  • Develop work standards to support work packages.
  • Provide guidance to more junior system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall packages.
  • Create work packages for all disciplines, including proficiency in generating weld data sheets in accordance with relevant codes and procedural requirements.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in nuclear power operations.
  • Expertise in scheduling software.
  • Skills in engineering planning and maintenance planning software.
  • Must have 10+ years of nuclear scheduling experience.
  • Experience in planner and utility construction roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience.
  • 7+ years of nuclear experience.
  • Experience using NAMS software.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Trade School Graduate is a plus.
  • Preferred 10+ years of experience in nuclear scheduling.
Work Environment

The work environment involves collaboration with station personnel and requires proficiency in handling mechanical, civil, and electrical tasks. Utilization of advanced scheduling and maintenance planning software is essential to ensure efficiency and accuracy in developing work packages.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
