Location: Henderson, NV
Job Type: Long-Term Assignment
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician for a long-term assignment in Henderson, NV. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical installations, conduit bending, wiring, and troubleshooting in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. A strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the ability to work safely and efficiently are essential.
Responsibilities:
Install junction boxes, run and pull wire, and bend conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC).
Perform homeruns, terminations, panel wiring, and breaker installations.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Use hand and power tools, including multimeters, conduit benders, wire strippers, and fish tapes.
Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.
Required Skills & Experience:
Thorough knowledge of the NEC.
Experience in installing and maintaining electrical systems (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Proficiency with tools such as:
Lineman pliers, needle-nose pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, conduit benders, multimeters, etc.
Ability to bend and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC).
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical circuits.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Must be OSHA-certified for scissor lift operation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Comfortable working at heights and in various job site conditions.
Job Site Expectations:
Punctuality and reliability.
Strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, insulated gloves, etc.).
Ability to work efficiently in team and independent settings.
Tools Required (Bring Your Own):
Tool belt/pouch, hand tools (pliers, cutters, screwdrivers, etc.).
Measuring tools (tape measure, torpedo level).
Voltage tester, multimeter, conduit bender, fish tape.
Flashlight/headlamp, utility knife, hammer.
