A large healthcare company is seeking an experienced Azure AI/OpenAI Architect to join its enterprise security team. This role is to advise application teams on their development of their bots to ensure security parameters are met. The client is over $370Bn in revenue and operates over 9,000 locations. They are dedicated to putting people first from their customers to their employees, engaging with customer feedback to further innovate to provide the best care possible, simplifying processes for care, creating a trusting environment, and to creating the safest and highest quality of care to keep patients protected. The client is dedicated to giving back to those around them. They have stared a Foundation to provide financial support to the communities to help with areas such as maternal health, mental health, scholarships, free health services/screenings, etc.
The client is using GenAI for many reasons but a big reason is that they still get majority of prescriptions via paper and they are leveraging these GenAI tools to read the papers and generate the correct forms needed for digital downstream systems. This consultant will be meeting with the various application development teams across the enterprise and ensure that their Vertex AI bots are properly secure according to best practices and standards. This role will not be developing the AI bots themselves but rather advising. The consultant should have a strong background in Azure and its related infrastructure.
This role is critical in shaping the architecture and security governance of our AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure AI/OpenAI Expertise: Provide expert guidance on Azure AI/OpenAI, including model training, deployment, and optimization.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design and implementation of Azure infrastructure to support AI applications.
Security Governance: Ensure all AI applications comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with application teams to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the architecture for AI solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Risk Management: Identify potential security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI architecture and security protocols.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to application teams on Azure AI/OpenAI and Azure best practices.
Compensation:
$10/hr to $23/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, location, and education.

Skills and Requirements
- 4-6+ years in IT
- 1+ year of Azure AI/OpenAI in enterprise company
- Proficiency in using Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI
- Experience with Azure AI Search and other AI-related tools on the Azure platform
- background in Azure infrastructure and cloud infrastructure management, including Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies - Azure AI Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Generative AI for Business with Microsoft Azure OpenAI
