Commercial Electrician Job Description We are seeking skilled electricians with a minimum of five years' commercial experience, ideally at a mechanic level. The role involves working on various commercial projects such as retail stores and apartment complexes. Responsibilities Make connections and pull wires. Install boxes for receptacles and lighting. Work with MC and Romex wiring. Perform conduit bending and troubleshooting. Read and interpret blueprints. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years' commercial electrician experience. Proficiency in construction, wiring, installation, and troubleshooting. Ability to work with hand tools and perform conduit bending. Additional Skills & Qualifications A license is preferred but not required. Must have a good driving record for potential use of company vehicles. Why Work Here? Work Environment The job requires personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, steel-toed or composite boots, gloves, safety vest, and safety glasses. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
