Merchandise Coordinator/CAD Specialist

Job Title: Merchandising Coordinator

Department: Visual Merchandising

Reports To: Vice President Visual Merchandising/Director Visual Merchandising

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update store floorplans every other month using CAD software.
• Coordinate floor transitions to reflect new product assortments, promotions, and seasonal layouts.
• Ensure product placement aligns with merchandising strategies and selling stories.
• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising and Category Management to execute floor plans that drive sales.
• Analyze store layouts to optimize traffic flow and enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintain accurate and detailed CAD drawings for multiple store locations.
• Communicate changes and layout plans effectively to store and regional teams.
• Support store teams in executing layout updates by providing clear documentation and guidance in person as needed.
• May assist with projects needing AutoCAD drawings, including playbooks, new store and remodel layouts.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in CAD design, space planning, or visual merchandising.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of retail space planning and furniture merchandising.
• Ability to analyze sales data to inform layout decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
