Painter**
**Job Description**
As a painter, you will be responsible for operating a high-pressure pot liquid painting machine to apply paint on structural steel. You will use blueprints to ensure quality finished painted parts. The role involves priming, applying undercoating, and top coat finish painting. Additionally, you will mix paints and match customer specifications while using a computer to view work procedures, blueprints, due dates, and special instructions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate high-pressure pot liquid painting machine on structural steel.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure quality finished painted parts.
+ Prime paint, apply undercoating, and top coat finish paint.
+ Mix paints and match them to customer specifications.
+ Use a computer to view work procedures, blueprints, due dates, and special instructions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Industrial Painting
+ Finishing
+ Liquid Paint
+ 1 year of liquid painting experience on structural steel or in a manufacturing facility.
+ Ability to read blueprints and perform quality inspections.
+ Proficient in reading a tape measure.
+ Comfortable learning and using an overhead lifting device.
+ Ability to perform basic math functions.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Sandblasting experience is a plus.
+ Must be able to navigate and use a computer.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
