**Job Description**
We are looking for a Structures Mechanic to perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft operated by an air cargo carrier. The role involves receiving task cards, reading blueprints, identifying necessary tools, and performing repairs or installations before submitting them for inspection.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerance using standard and blind/pop rivets like HI-Loks.
+ Conduct basic fabrication and installation tasks, followed by quality checks.
+ Engage in corrosion control and fabricate/install stringers and doublers.
+ Participate in the modification of an ATR72-700 in addition to performing standard C-checks for the fleet.
+ Either replace internal mechanics to backfill the heavy check line or join the mod team after training.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural repair or fabrication.
+ Ability to drill, ream, countersink, and rivet sheet metal working from blueprints.
+ MRO experience is required.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must be able to pass a basic structures fabrication test.
+ Possession of a personal set of tools including Drill Motor, Countersink Cage/Microstop, Rivet Gun, Rivet Sets, 1/4" Ratchet and Sockets, Grinder, Machinist's Scale/Rule, and Clecos.
